Today  I recieved a mail from my very very dear and good friends Gary and Stephanie
telling me of the loss of life to Gary,s Mother Pauline,who I had the greatest of pleasure to meet
( if only on skype) .
Pauline had been fighting a losing battle against illness, and it was truely saddening to watch the deteriation
of such a wonderful Lady. I know it is a sad thing to say , .....and some may say it is a heartless thing to say
but , I for one am very glad to know her suffering has at last ended and she has finally found peace .
She will be missed I know in the Bouvier household, and also by myself.
My friends even tho Pauline has left, and there now seems to be a hole in your lives, her memory will  
remain with you forever so look back once in a while and remember her as the Woman and also the Lady she was
back in her ealier years, and NOT as what she became in the end. No person on this earth should suffer like Pauline did
Somethings in this medical world of our MUST change and SOON.

Gary, Stephanie, I know the lose I feel is not so great as yours must be, but I feel I was extremely privileged to
have know Pauline and will always hold her memory in high esteem. Thank you God for letting me know what must have been
a tremendous Lady, back in the day.
Aufwiedersehen Pauline, and may God be your companion from now on.

to wish everybody a very Merry and Happy Christmas, and boy do we NEED one.
Just hope that somewhere in the world folks will cease throwing lead at each other,and on at least ONE day in the year have a little PEACE around.
And for the future..........America.....WAKE UP, your supposedly great black hope is taking you down the drain fast, you thought Bush was bad .....well take a look around ya.
Any way  Merry Christmas to all you folk and if any of you have friends or relatives in the war zones, take time out to REALLY think of them, and I sincerely hope your all reunited soon.

Well Gunny,s gone and finally reach the ripe age of 65, so I,m putting my feet up, sippin my JD, and raising my middle finger, to the whole world , as far as I,m concerned ya can all Kiss-em Chisum,lol ( only a few elite folk here know what I mean)
And yeah I,m sorry folks I,m still hangin around here  probably much to the dismay of a few folks ( but I know who and where my friends are ) I wont be posting much or often, because I,m gonna settle into painting just one subject in diferent situation and surroundings ,and BELIEVE ME I,m gonna have a whale of a time, but as I said I wont be posting many of them here on the dA, they,ll only be for " my favorite folk" also I have rule that I have to abide by ,ol
sorry ,hands are tied ,and I aint beaking no rules,( two folk are reading this and saying" christ Gunny,s being good and behaving hisself AT LAST" yeah surprizing and amazing aint it?
Just one point I wanna make in my old age .............. there ARE some real nice folk in the "land of plenty" and I,ve been given the chance and privileg to see into thier lives and hardships, and believe me it hurt, and it,s about time that you folks in the USA  got together and got your asses down to the "big white tent " and told that old coloured "yes we can" man that...........NO HE CANT, because if you open your eyes and really look , folks you been mugged good style, he and his chums are just continuing the same ride that Bush took you on and it,s a ride on the Highway to hell.
How many body bags is it gonna take before someone raises thier voice and say,s" enough is enough" theres a saying that history repeats it,s self.......just think Vietnam,and you,ll know the out come of this little fiasco too, they say a country and the world depend on thier youth, because they have ideas for the future , well where are the ideas gonna come from when you keep throwing your youth in front of guns in a land where ya aint wanted, just to satisfy some ones greed. They might think they own the world but I can tell ya boy are making a BIG mistake on that subject; and WHO;S paying for all this?...... sure as apples aint the rich folks, and the more and longer you let them do just as they want, they,ll sit back and laugh at you and do what ever they want .
NO I,m not just having ago at the YANKS; so dont get me wrong , because we got major A..hole in the UK too, who are to dumb to see what the future holds , and I,m tell ya it sure aint anything good.       And also please dont go writting back that I,m talking outta my A++ because , I can actually say , been there , done that, got the t-shirt and burnt the factory down, even made the film.AND LEARNT something from my mistakes, and believe me I made plenty.and I know what it,s like to have "blue beans" flying at me , and young guys dying around me.    So all I can say and pass on in the hope some one hears is........
WAKE UP IT,S LATER THAN YOU THINK and one day it,ll be too late.

I had a very special surprise waiting for me today when I opened my DA ,
there waitting for me was a request for me to add my "head and shoulders" part potrait of Stephanie ( tndrhrtd) to "Action Portraits", and so I wandere on over there to see just who and what was going down , and I have to admit I got blown away, because there, some of the most tremdous art is posted , and I had a very great privileged feeling of being asked to join such a circle of talented artist, sometimes when you down and not feeling to grand , along comes such a surprise and seems to just pick you up dust you down , and open your eyes.
so I,d like to say thanks to folks that considered and thought that this piece of work would fit in amongst all the other wonderful works of art in thier collection. Me? ..well I kinda feel ove the moon.
But I also got to add , that if it were not for two very very fantastic people ,that painting would never had come to be, I have mentioned them often enough here on the dA , most of you know who I,m talking about , and those of you who dont , then I kinda feel sad for you.
And a very special thanks goes out to Stephanie for talking to me and urging back into my art, because I was ready to give it all up, when things looked kinda bad . It,s sometime very surprising the effects that some folks can have on us , and Stephanie is just that sort of person. She doesn,t just talk she LISTENS, ( some guys would say "that a rarety in a woman, lol all I can say is   guys stop looking just at the body work, they have brains too.and some time a lot more than what we grant them with.
Thanks folks for all the visits and the many many favs that you all have deemed worthy , and all the comments on my work of late , it sortta makes my descion to leave the dA harder every day, and also give me a sense of guilt, but as the actress said to the bishop....."all GOOD things must come to an end", maybe I might just extend my leaving a little bit longer .
